How to get your export
- 1.Tinder: Settings → Download My Data (or account.gotinder.com) → request, then download the ZIP with data.json.
- 2.Hinge: Settings → Download My Data → request, then download the ZIP with matches.json.
- 3.Unzip if you like, or upload the ZIP directly — the tool finds the right file.
- 4.Upload here. Your conversations are read entirely in your browser and never uploaded.
No. This is a fully local reader — your Tinder or Hinge file is parsed in your browser and the searchable HTML archive is generated on your device. Unlike stats sites, nothing is sent to a server, even anonymized.
Neither Tinder nor Hinge includes match display names in their data export, so conversations are labelled by match id or order. This is a limit of the export, not the tool.
Hinge's export contains the messages you sent under each match. Incoming messages are not reliably included by Hinge, so the archive reflects what the export contains.
Tinder's data.json / tinder.json and Hinge's matches.json, either directly or inside the ZIP each app provides.
