How to export your Google Maps saved places

Go to takeout.google.com. Click "Deselect all", then enable only "Maps (your places)". Click "Next step" → "Export once" → "Create export". Google will email you a download link within minutes. Download and unzip the archive — inside the "Maps" folder you will find "Saved Places.json". That file is what you upload to the converter.
