How to export a WhatsApp chat on iPhone

WhatsApp on iPhone lets you export any individual chat or group chat as a text file. Here is how: 1. Open WhatsApp on your iPhone. 2. Navigate to the chat you want to export — a 1:1 conversation or a group chat. 3. Tap the contact or group name at the very top of the screen to open their profile. 4. Scroll down until you see "Export Chat". Tap it. 5. Choose "Without media" — this gives you a .txt file with just the messages. It is smaller, faster to process, and works perfectly with the WhatsApp Chat Binder. (Choose "Include media" if you want to keep photos and videos — this produces a .zip file. The tool will find the chat file inside the .zip automatically.) 6. A share sheet will appear. You can: - Save it to Files and then open it on this device or share it to another - Email it to yourself and download it from your inbox on any device - AirDrop it to your Mac 7. Once you have the .txt or .zip file on your device, upload it to the WhatsApp Chat Binder. Tip: if you want to export multiple chats, repeat the process for each one. The tool currently processes one chat at a time.
