How to export Instagram saved and liked posts

Instagram lets you request a copy of your account information through Instagram or Meta Accounts Center. For saved and liked post links, request the JSON format so the files can be parsed locally. Step-by-step: 1. Open Instagram on desktop, or open Meta Accounts Center from Instagram settings. 2. Go to "Your information and permissions". 3. Choose "Download your information" or "Download or transfer information". 4. Select the Instagram account you want to export. 5. Choose "Some of your information" if Instagram lets you narrow the request. Look for activity, saved posts, likes, or similar Instagram activity categories. If you are unsure, choose all available information. 6. Choose "Download to device". 7. Choose JSON format. HTML is easier to browse manually, but JSON is the machine-readable format needed for CSV conversion. 8. Choose a date range and media quality. For link export, media quality does not matter because the tool reads JSON metadata, not photos or videos. 9. Create the files and wait for Instagram to email the download link. The link is available for a limited time, so download it when it is ready. 10. Keep the original ZIP unchanged as your source copy. 11. Upload the ZIP to the Instagram Saved Posts Link Export. The tool looks for: - your_instagram_activity/saved/saved_posts.json - your_instagram_activity/likes/liked_posts.json 12. Download the generated ZIP. It contains: - instagram-saved-and-liked-links.csv - bookmarks/instagram-saved-posts.html - bookmarks/instagram-liked-posts.html - links/saved-links.txt - links/liked-links.txt - reports/source-file-audit.csv - reports/summary.txt Important limitations: - The tool exports links and metadata only. It does not download photos, videos, reels, stories, thumbnails, or captions from the live Instagram site. - It does not use your password, session cookies, browser extensions, scraping, or private APIs. - Instagram exports may omit saved collection or folder names. Do not delete or reorganize your Instagram collections until you verify the output. - Deleted, private, blocked, age-restricted, or region-restricted posts may still appear as URLs but fail to open later. - Missing Features is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta.
